Year 5 Remote Learning
1st – 5th March
Good morning Year 5. This will be your last week of remote learning before coming back to school . The year 5 team want to thank you for being amazing during this tough time, we have loved seeing your work and being able to cacth up with so many of you each week on the class meets.
Here is your learning for last week, please make sure you are completing the home learning for your return to school.
As always, please use Google classroom to access the learning as we post videos daily to help with your learning. We are filming lessons for maths, english and topic subjects. 22nd February – 27th February
Welcome back Year 5! We hope that you have had a wonderful half term break. Thank you to everyone for sending in their work, we have been putting it on display here at school.
We are continuing our topic of ‘Extreme Earth’ this half term but will also be learning about the monarchy in history and forces in science.

8th February to 11th February
Hello everyone, here is your remote learning for this week. Please continue to use Google Classrooms to complete your learning as we are posting daily lessons for Guided Reading, Maths, English and Topic.
We are asking for photographs of your learning to be uploaded if possible or emailed using year5@elson-jun.hants.sch.uk. We love seeing your work and are responding with feedback, we are also displaying your work at school and on social media.
Next Friday (12th) is an inset day, therefore there will be no learning set on this day.
Thursday we are having a ‘Screen Free’ day. Below you will find a grid of activities, pick a few to carry out and have some fun!
The following week (15th – 19th) is half term which means no work will be set during that week.
