Assemblies and Stories

Spring Term 2021

As we find ourselves in another lockdown with lots of our children accessing our remote learning we wanted to offer some additional activities.  Here you will find a weekly assembly by Mrs Ryan along with stories read by members of staff.  Keep checking back for additional updates.  Remember, if you need help or support, do contact the school through the year groups emails for direct contact with teachers or telephone the school.

Take care and stay safe.

Mrs Ryan talks about the importance of doing things that make you happy – she loves baking and cooking.  Here is a video Mrs Ryan has recorded which shows you how to make your own playdough!  Make sure you have an adult to help you as you will need to use your stove.

Music
As a school, we use the Hampshire Music Service to deliver specialist music lessons to our pupils.  Mrs Reynolds the music teacher who visits us is recording some videos to share, she is calling them ‘Positive Vibes.’  This is a Hampshire Music Service project that uses music to explore the five ways of well-being, which are recognised by healthcare professionals as essential strategies for promoting and maintaining mental health and wellbeing (be active, keep learning, give to others, connect, take notice). We do hope you enjoy them.  There will be a video each week and we have two to upload today.
