Uniform

At our school, we are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, confident and part of a strong community. We encourage our pupils to grow in confidence, take pride in themselves and strive to achieve their very best.

Our high expectations are reflected in the way our pupils present themselves. Wearing school uniform helps foster a sense of unity and belonging, while also ensuring equality among children. We believe that a consistent dress code removes unnecessary pressures around fashion and cost, allowing children to focus fully on their learning. Our uniform has been carefully chosen to be practical, durable and affordable for families.

All items of uniform, PE kit, coats, lunchboxes and water bottles need to be clearly labelled with your child's name.

School Uniform

  • Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan

  • Light blue polo shirt

  • Grey or black trousers, pinafore or skirt

  • Grey, black or white socks or tights

  • Plain, black shoes with no heel

  • Light blue and white checked/striped summer dress (optional)

  • Navy blue fleece (optional).

PE Kit

  • Plain, white, round necked t-shirt

  • Plain navy blue/black shorts (must be mid-thigh to just above knee in length)

  • Plain track suit of any colour for outdoor games during cold weather

  • Trainers

  • Swimming costume or trunks, swimming hats and goggles (optional), for years 5 and 6 only.

Children also need to bring:

  • A water bottle

  • A coat appropriate for the weather

  • A lunchbox (if they are to have a packed lunch)

  • In hot weather, a sun hat and sun cream (please make sure it is nut free) that they can apply themselves.

Uniform Recycling Scheme

We are proud to offer a Uniform Recycling Scheme to support our families. Parents and carers are welcome to donate items their children have outgrown or no longer need. Donations can be dropped off at Main Reception.

This initiative helps reduce waste, supports families who may need additional assistance, and strengthens our sense of community.

Jewellery

Children may wear a wrist watch and small stud earrings. For health and safety reasons, these must be removed for Physical Education and when using the Adventure Playground, they can not be taped. Children must be able to remove and replace their own earrings. No other jewellery is permitted.

Personal Appearance

We encourage and expect all our children to take pride in their appearance and to ensure that it is appropriate for the occasion. Outlandish hair styles, nail varnish and make up etc. are not appropriate for school but are OK for the school discos.

Lost Property

Lost Property, if it is clearly labelled with your child’s name, is always returned to the owner.

If items are unidentifiable, they will be placed in the lost property box in Main Reception. Unclaimed items are disposed of after half a term.

Uniform with our logo can be ordered directly from Skool Kit, either from the shop in Fareham or online via their website Skoolkit . We do hold a small amount of stock in school for emergencies.
