Admissions

We warmly welcome applications from families who wish their child to join our school community.

If you are considering applying for a place at Elson Junior School, we encourage you to visit us and see our school in action. Tours can be arranged by contacting the school office. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions and provide further information about life at our school.

In-Year Admissions

In-year admissions are applications made outside the normal Year 3 entry point, for example:

  • Moving to a new school during the academic year

  • Applying for a Year 3 place after the September intake

  • Applying for a place in Years 4, 5, or 6

All in-year admissions are coordinated by the Local Authority.
